Life is Good

You wake up every morning, wondering what the day has in store for you. It could be a fun day full of happy surprises, new friendships, and accomplishment of new milestones. Or, it could be a lousy day, with the boss yelling at you, your car breaking down, or your cat getting lost. Some days are good, some are bad. How do you react to these incidents? Do you mope around and say, "Life is hard!"? Or do you square your shoulders, and say, "No problem, life is good!" Albert Einstein said, "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." If you look at life positively, you will find every hurdle a stepping stone to success. Instead of making excuses, you will find reasons to succeed. Each failure teaches us important lessons in life. Don't be disappointed or disillusioned by your misadventures. Life is good when you accept failures and success. Recharge your soul with positive thinking. Start your day by saying that life is good. With a never-say-die attitude, you can see the silver lining in every grey cloud.

Chocolate Cupcake with Peanut Icing

This is not one of my Mom's recipe. This is my own, after trying different cupcake recipes this is one of the best so far. I have tried different ingredients, tried other cocoa brands but finally found my choice and it tasted even better.

I tried the peanut icing from my Mom's cupcake recipe. Didn't much have the time to make frosting because I didn't have much time. (My daughter was a handful of trouble so no one watches her).

It's just easy. Hope you like it.

Ingredients:

1 cup all purpose flour
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 cup white sugar
3/4 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vinegar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup sour cream

Icing:
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp flour
1 egg

Procedure:
•Combine the dry ingredients; all purpose flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Sift them all together. Set aside
•For the wet ingredients; in a bowl, mix the eggs, water, vegetable oil, vinegar and vanilla. Pour in the dry ingredients then put in the sour cream.
•Pour batter each on muffin pan, bake cupcakes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
•Cool for a while. Serve with an icing of your choice.

For the icing:
Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Cook until it becomes thick and creamy. Cool in then top off on the cupcakes.

Enjoy baking! 😊😊😊

Clear and Simple

Life need not be complicated. Life can be clear and simple.

Let us go back to basics and remember the lessons we learned in kindergarten:

1. Share
Share your blessings. Learn to give not because you have everything but because you have known the feeling of not having.

2. Play fair
"Playing games with agreed upon rules helps children learn to live by rules, establish the delicate balance between competition and cooperation, between fair play and justice and exploitation and abuse of these for personal gain. It helps them learn to manage the warmth of winning and the hurt of losing; it helps them to believe that there will be another chance to win the next time."

Be fair. Accept when you lose, celebrate when you win. Do not brag, but be humble.

3. Don't hit people
Violence is not the answer when you're angry. You don't lead by hitting. Do not hit when it all can be avoided.

4. Put things back where you found them
If you borrowed a thing, give it back.
1. When you put things back where you found them, you respect the item and the people that want to use it later.
2. If you can be disciplined in one area of your life, you can be disciplined in all areas.
3. The better you take care of things around you, the longer you will have them.
4. When you have respect for others, others tend to respect you. You reap what you sow.

5. Clean up your mess
One has a responsibility to clean up one's space and make it livable as far as one's own resources go. That includes not only material resources, but psychological resources: the commitment of time and a portion of your mind to something when you'd rather be doing something else.

6. Say "sorry" when you hurt somebody
Everyone knows, everytime we hurt somebody whatever the fault is you have to say sorry. Apologizing doesn't mean you're right or wrong,it's just way of showing you understand and value the situation. Don't hold grudge. If you say sorry, you're freeing yourself from misdoing.

Being A Mom is a Happiness

Being a mom is a happiness! :)

Just because you give birth to a child doesn’t make you a mother! Being a mother means taking care of your baby, cuddling, watching her grow, watching her play, being there for the good and the bad, and most importantly showing them your unconditional love every second of EVERYDAY!

Rebuilding Own Self

02SEP

Hey, did you know that, when butterflies pupate, they actually dissolve their entire bodies and re-build themselves from a clump of liquid cells? Nature is metal as aghast!

Now go out there and pupate. Rebuild yourself from scratch. Erase your mistakes and turn them into beauty and power. You’re a phoenix and can do whatever the hell you set your mind on. This isn’t the end. If a tiny insect can regenerate itself from liquid, you can make it through this. Go out there and show humanity that you’re a diamond-hard bulletproof.

Go out there and show nature you OWN the millenia of evolution that made you.
Go out there and show them, and make me proud child.
